Dear Mr. Tuman:
With a great sense of pride and pleasure, I write to announce that you have been selected to receive the Michigan State University Alumni Service Award.
The Alumni Service Award is presented annually to a select group of graduates who have demonstrated continuing outstanding volunteer service to Michigan State University and/or meritorious public service on a local, state, national or international level while exhibiting high personal integrity and character.
The Alumni Service Award will be presented on the evening of Thursday, October 11, 2012 (Homecoming weekend, black tie optional), at the MSU Alumni Association Grand Awards ceremony. The President, Board of Trustees, officers of the University, and their supporters will be present on this occasion. You and a guest are invited to join us for the grand awards ceremony.
In addition, you will be receiving an invitation from President Lou Anna K. Simon, inviting you to the Green and White brunch prior to the game time, and to the MSU/Iowa Homecoming football game.
